spiritual retreat?
To practice zen for awhile [a week or much more]?
Waking up at sunrise, joining in on quiet group meditations and listen to your soul and what is calling out to you from within–to rediscover who you are at the CORE on a deep soul level?
Would you [or maybe you've done so already]
actually ever take action to do something like this as a gift to yourself?
What are your thoughts?
Experiences please?
Positive, inspiring responses ONLY please, thank you.

p.s. or maybe you’ve done this on a camping trip by yourself communing w/nature …

Or was it the planets aligning just so? Or was it the Wiccan spell of protection that you cast? Or was it Zeus or Odin looking over your shoulder? Or maybe you reached a level of Zen enlightenment? Or… was it… coincidence?
All the belief systems out there look the same objectively… How do you know for sure? How is it ever more than a choice that could have been made by the roll of a die? There is no final, definitive concrete evidence for any religion or spiritual philosophy. But the thing is I still have this nagging feeling I will be going to hell because I didn’t choose to accept Jesus Christ as my saviour.. but my brain says: this doesn’t make any objective sense….What do you think?
Intelligent answers only, please!! Don’t bother answering if you can’t use English grammar correctly or if you can’t answer without YELLING LIKE THIS.
Sorry to be a prick, but those things are insanely irritating.

Hi everybody. I’m wondering if any of you fine folks could point me to some resources or give me some connections to find some sort of spiritual career. Being enlightened at the age of 22, and unaffiliated with any particular spiritual faith or order, it is difficult for me to make headway. It also seems that much of what passes these days for enlightenment is something of a fraud or misunderstanding, so I cannot introduce myself or describe my capacities summarily without falling into surrounding stereotypes and pigeonholes. I’d be a great teacher or guru, like a Zen teacher say. I’m very good at speaking and getting through to people. Spiritual, occult, or even shamanic, I know I could contribute greatly to many types of groups, but not “the church” if you know what I mean. In theory I would find someone looking for a person like myself, and through considerable correspondence I would convey the reality of my proposition. I have no money.

I asked yesterday if you could be spiritual without religion and most people not all said yes, now I ask canhj you still be spiritual and not believe on god? I am not atheist more a Wiccan but what about those who i think are very spiritual but do not beleive in god? What do you all think? Please be kind with your answers this is not about if god exists or not, but whether you can be spiritual without a beleif in god. I say yes, I am more Wiccan and am very spiritual just not in a Christian, Muslim or Jewish sense. I follow more Zen philosophy and Wiccan ways than anything I guess.
For those not already familiar with me I NEVER thumb down anyones answer unless they are rude or cruel. so if you get one it is more than likely not from me, I either thumb up or none at all, thumbs down to me is negative and that begets more negative. Just my opinion though.
A) DO not call me Rick, no one ever told you could do that, it is Wolf thank you, and i already said that i do not believe in fantasy but i am spiritual I am mostly Wiccan. Not Christian. I do appreciate your attempt to share your knowledge it is welcome whether i agree or not, but please do not call me by my name online that is politically and morally wrong you call someone by their online nic only, that is proper online ettiquette. TY.
I am VERY spiritual and I DO NOT BELIEVE in your GOD, HELL, PURGATORY or any of the stuff, I do believe in another’s right to believe in this if they choose as much as I do if they do not wish too, is that what the USA was built on freedom from Religious Persecution? I do not believe in Sin, I do believe in rigth and wrong and morals. I do not need sci fi to answer logical things in my life, i give thanks to my loved ones and friends not to something i cannot see, smell, touch, taste and am told to believe or I will go to Hell. What if I said if YOU do not believe in Santa 9 Reindeer will come to your house and beat you to death unless your repent and accept Santa? Come on that is ridiculous. IF a god exists I hardly doubt that it is cruel and vindictive, that is human nature and human kinds way.

Jameskan Video asked:

There are so many religions and spiritual paths, it seems the Christians, atheists and agnostics dominate this place. Are there any who follow say Ammachi or one of the living gurus here? Or followers of mystic paths like Zen or Sufism? Or are they mostly remaining silent for fear of ridicule?
