All spiritual minded welcome; wiccan, pagan, buddhist, zen, ect.
Which paths did you follow? What was it about this particuliar philosophy or religion/spiritual view(s) that matched up to your belief system the most? and what are some of the most spiritually inspiring messages that it has taught you about life?

Any Christian’s responding please only answer if you’ve been more spiritually educated –if you’ve done some self discovery about yourself in atleast another path.
Thank you.

I’m not talking about books from evangelical Christians, I’m talking about books that promote zen and getting in touch with your spiritual side. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Is it possible to seek Zen spirituality and still love logic and philosophy? I guess what I’m asking is: Can someone enjoy philosophy and logic if they are excluded from their spiritual quest? Please help.

Thank you.

Inner Peace asked:

Recently, in a discussion on a spiritual group site, someone asked for a definition of “spirit” and many responded with Zen Buddhist and Taoist answers. The questioner was baffled by this and found it very difficult to take part in the discussion.

What happens when the words just don’t add up to what you are trying to convey?

I’ve felt a strike with qi many times and i understand some of the theories but even after training for awhile i get no affect 90% of the time and a great affect 10% of the time. What’s your understanding of the force generated “internally”. Qi doesn’t fly for me, i can see the method has effect, i just don’t know why. I understand dropping the weight, to add gravity and force, i understand co-ordinated movement adding accumulated muscular force. I also have at least a >partial< acceptance of electrical force from nerves, by relaxation disrupting nerve signals or adding force etc. Are there any other physiological reasons, hopefully with evidence or your personal theories that make sense. And youtube videos so do not fly either, you must be inbred to believe the majority of that "internal, energy, christian zen etc".
i get freebies all the time, i havent paid insurance or membership for a year
